The Turkish Company AKDAGLAR wants to open its gates in Burundi

On thursday, may 12, 2022, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation Mr. Ferdinand Bashikako granted an audience to a delegation from the Turkish Company AKDAGLAR. This delegation was led by YEKTA TURE, Managing Director and member of the Board of Directors of AKDAGLAR.

Speaking about the purpose of the visit, Mr. YEKTA TURE said that the purpose of the visit to Burundi of these investors is to explore all the investment opportunities in Burundi in order to develop innovative projects. He indicated that the AKDAGLAR Company is specialized in the field of infrastructure, production of construction materials for roads, bridges, hospitals and energy production centers.

The Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation Mr. Ferdinand Bashikako welcomed the delegation from the AKDAGLAR Company. He said that Burundi is preparing to take off but it will not do it alone, it will also need strong partnerships with others. He praised the good relations that unite Burundi and Turkey, as evidenced by these Turkish Companies which want to develop their projects in Burundi.
