The flag of the Republic of Burundi is divided into four parts by a diagonal white cross. The upper and lower parts are red; the sides of the pole and the outside are green. The center of the cross bears a white disk in which are drawn three red stars with six branches, lined with green and arranged in a triangle (a star at the top, two stars at the bottom).
