Since October 3, 2024, His Excellency Ambassador Albert Shingiro, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation of the Republic of Burundi, has begun, on the sidelines of the 45th Ministerial Conference of the Francophonie, an economic tour to meet in person with potential public and private investors to present business opportunities and invite them to a Round Table scheduled in Burundi from December 5 to 6, 2024. From France to Morocco, Minister Shingiro went to Belgium, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. This tour is also a good opportunity to meet with his counterparts to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation.
In December 2021, the Head of State of Burundi, His Excellency Mr. Evariste NDAYISHIMIYE, organized a mini-round table at the presidential office Ntare Rushatsi House with the diplomatic corps accredited to Bujumbura and technical and financial partners.
