On tuesday january 17, 2023, a delegation of the National Police of Burundi at the highest level led by the Chief of the Police Cabinet General Major Leonidas NDARUZANIYE, met the Director General of the National Police of the Republic of Türkiye to discuss the subjects of common interests and the cooperation project in the security field between them. This Delegation was accompanied by His Excellency Mr. Gérard NTAHORWAROYE BIKEBAKO, the Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi in Türkiye.
At the end of the exchanges, the two security forces agreed to quickly instruct the technical teams for the implementation of the cooperation agreement in the security field already ratified by the Burundian side.
After the meeting with the National Police of the Republic of Türkiye, the delegation of the National Police of Burundi at the highest level visited the companies specialized in the manufacture of military police equipment where they were interested in their achievements. The companies visited are: BMC (Berone Motos Campany), MKE (Makine ve Kimya Endustrisi), AVS (Avionics and Sensors) and SD (System Defense).
