Ferdinand Bashikako a reçu en audience une délégation de British Motors Company (BMC) d’origine Turque guidée par Gén-Bde Pol Thadée Birutegusa, Attaché de Défense à l’Ambassade du Burundi à Ankara. Ils ont échangé sur la coopération militaro-sécuritaire entre le Burundi et la Turquie en vue d’entretenir et renforcer ladite coopération.
