En date du 1er juillet 2022, le Burundi a commémoré le 60ème anniversaire de son indépendance. Dans ce cadre, l’Ambassade du Burundi à Paris n’a pas manqué à célébrer cette fête.
Dans son discours, l’Ambassadeur du Burundi à Paris, Son Excellence Monsieur Ernest NIYOKINDI a exprimé sa satisfaction du fait que maintenant le Burundi est un Etat indépendant et souverain depuis le 1er juillet 1962.
Son Excellence Monsieur Ernest NIYOKINDI a rappelé que le Héro de l’indépendance du Burundi est le feu Prince Louis Rwagasore. Il a également rappelé que le Burundi a besoin d’une indépendance économique pour compléter son indépendance politique.
En vue d’acquérir l’indépendance économique, l’actuel Président de la République du Burundi Son Excellence Monsieur Evariste Ndayishimiye, sensibilise tous les Burundais pour travailler beaucoup afin d’augmenter la production dans tous les secteurs, a indiqué Monsieur Ernest Niyokindi.
