Ce vendredi 21 /01/2022, le Secrétaire Permanent au Ministère des Affaires Etrangères et de la Coopération au Développement M. Ferdinand BASHIKAKO a reçu en audience le Cofondateur de l’entreprise SAHANIK RESSOURCES NEVADA CORPORATION M. Sahani Nkhoma d’origine Zambienne.
En effet, M. Sahani Nkhoma a indiqué que l’entreprise SAHANIK RESSOURCES NEVADA CORPORATION souhaite investir dans l’extraction et la transformation du nickel de Musongati pour contribuer au développement économique du Burundi.
Le Secrétaire Permanent a salué ce projet. Il a affirmé que le Burundi regorge d’une quantité importante de nickel. Il a fait savoir que le Gouvernement du Burundi a ouvert les portes pour tous les investisseurs qui le souhaitent mais en procédant par des accords gagnant-gagnant. Pour cela, il a indiqué que le Burundi privilégie maintenant des investisseurs qui acceptent d’extraire les mines et les transformer au Burundi afin d’exporter les produits finis.
Monsieur Ferdinand BASHIKAKO lui a demandé d’aller contacter le Ministère de l’Hydraulique, de l’Energie et des Mines au Burundi pour présenter ce projet.
