The Head of diplomacy of Burundi, one of the 100 most influential personalities on the continent

On Thursday May 30, 2024, in Harare, capital of Zimbabwe, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation His Excellency Ambassador Albert Shingiro was honored to receive from the Business Executive Group, the prize among the 100 most influential personalities in Africa in an event organized under the theme “people who drive the African renaissance”.

In his speech for the occasion, Minister Albert Shingiro expressed his gratitude to the organizers for having planned that important event. He said that that distinction gives him confidence and motivates him to work even harder alongside other African leaders, from diverse backgrounds, to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of Africans.

Note that that prize is the second international one that the Head of Burundian diplomacy has obtained in the space of six months after having received the 2024 Prize for Best Minister of Development Cooperation in Africa last February in Mauritius.
