The Burundian diaspora who lives in Gabon assisted two most deprived basic schools

On monday, august 14, 2023, the Burundian diaspora in Gabon donated two hundred (200) benches-desks to the Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research, in favor of two poorest basic schools in the province of Bujumbura and Bubanza.

In those activities, the Burundian diaspora was represented by the President of the Burundian diaspora in Gabon, Miss. NISABWA Odette and the Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research was represented by a delegation composed of two people, composed of Nyabenda Jérôme, Director of the Office of School Infrastructure and Maintenance (BISEM) and Miss. Nsabimana Evelyne, member of the Communication unit. The two hundred benches-desks were distributed respectively to the Kinama basic school of the Communal Directorate of Education of Nyabiraba of the Provincial Directorate of Education of Bujumbura which received one hundred benches-desks and the basic school Murengeza I from the Communal Directorate of Education Mpanda from the Provincial Directorate of Education Bubanza which received one hundred desks. That act by the Burundian diaspora of Gabon was welcomed by a lot of people, and the Burundian diaspora from other countries were asked to imitate the same model to promote the love of the homeland
