On the occasion of the draw for the teams which will participate in the Moselle African Cup tournament organized by the platform of Moselle African associations, Burundi was chosen to participate in the African Cup tournament.

The draw ceremonies took place in the Mayor of Metz, in France at the Metz City Hall. The Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi in Paris His Excellency Isaïe Kubwayo was among those who drew lots, and the great surprise, he had the chance to draw Burundi. That draw saw the participation of Mr François GROSDIDIER Mayor of the city of Metz and President of Euro Métropole and Mr Kévin Gnandou.
Ambassador Isaïe Kubwayo on that occasion spoke with Mr François GROSDIDIER about the decentralized cooperation between Burundi and France. They also discussed the politics in Metz and the decentralized cooperation with Africa.
The Moselle African Cup is a football tournament bringing together twenty-four African countries for that special edition and that tournament will begin on June 29, 2024.
