Presentation of Credentials to the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe

On 26 September 2024, , Her Excellency Mrs Evelyne Butoyi,  Ambassador of Burundi in Lusaka, presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, His Excellency Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, accrediting her as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi to Zimbabwe.

Since the 1990s, Burundi has enjoyed very good political and friendly relations with Zimbabwe. These relations are maintained in high-level political exchanges of visits.

Please note that the two countries also maintain good diplomatic relations, with the establishment agreement at ambassadorial level signed on 05/09/1985.
