On 6 September 2026, His Excellency Ambassador Isidore Ntirampeba had the distinct honour of presenting to His Majesty the King of Jordan the Letter of Credence by which His Excellency General Évariste Ndayishimiye, President of the Republic of Burundi, accredited him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Burundi to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
In his address, Ambassador Isidore Ntirampeba stated that it was a particular honour and a great privilege to serve as the first Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, thereby opening a new chapter in relations between Burundi and Jordan.
He further stated that, with the gracious support of His Majesty the King of Jordan and the valuable cooperation of the Government of the Kingdom, he was firmly committed to further strengthening the bonds of friendship and mutual respect between the two countries, while promoting mutually beneficial cooperation between their peoples
