On April 09, 2025, the President of the Burundian Diaspora in the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Patrick Mushitsi, in collaboration with the Operations and Commercial Affairs Departments of the Banque de l’Habitat du Burundi (BHB), in an invitation made public, invited the Burundian Diaspora living in China to take part in a meeting scheduled for them on April 19, 2025 on zoom from 4pm to 6pm in Beijing.
He also announced that this was an information meeting on ways and means of obtaining housing loans for members of the Diaspora from the Banque de l’Habitat du Burundi (BHB). He went on to say that the aim of the meeting is to provide more information on the prerequisites and recommended procedures for benefiting from the Banque de l’Habitat du Burundi’s housing loan offers. The President of the Burundian Diaspora in China thanked all Burundians residing in China for their attention to this invitation and for their massive participation.

Muhiziwintore, accompanied by BHB Operations Director Mr. Eric Nzambimana all from the Banque de l’Habitat du Burundi (BHB) were guests of the day. They discussed the terms and conditions for granting housing loans, the advantages reserved for the Burundian Diaspora and the steps involved in realizing their real estate project.
The Burundian Diaspora (BD) is an association whose main objective is to bring together all Burundians living abroad to participate in the development of Burundi. As for the Banque de l’Habitat du Burundi (BHB), it takes the lead in financing housing and real estate investment operations. It helps the Burundian Diaspora to achieve Burundi’s vision of becoming an emerging country by 2040 and a developed country by 2060.
