The Burundian Diaspora, represented by Mr Samuel Ndayiragije, is organizing a retreat for all representatives of the Burundian Diaspora worldwide. The retreat is scheduled to take place in Bujumbura from July 25 to 27, 2025.
On the first day of the retreat, July 25, 2025, there will be a general assembly of the representatives of the Burundian Diaspora from various countries worldwide.
On the second day, July 26, 2025, there will be a moralization session on leadership.
On the third day, July 27, 2025, a report will be produced on the activities already carried out during the retreat, and forwarded to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation for assessment and any other useful purposes.
In the same context, all members of the Burundian Diaspora will be cordially invited to take part in the activities scheduled for July 29-31, 2025 as part of Diaspora Week, an event dedicated to them. This initiative organized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation will be held under the theme: ’’Abarundi bakorera mu mahanga tuje ku kivi mu gushira mu ngiro Imbonokazoza y’Uburundi bwifashe muri 2040 kandi buteye imbere muri 2060’’.
