The discussions focused on several key points:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Challenges in pre-departure preparation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Identifying the obstacles faced by candidates before departure in order to ensure better preparation and successful integration in host countries.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Harmonization of best practices<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Establishing common standards in training and supervision to ensure the quality and safety of migrant workers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 Promotion of coordinated national approaches<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aligning the actions of private agencies with the strategic directions of the Government of Burundi for a better-regulated migration process that benefits the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Consul General in Dubai shared insightful testimonies about the realities faced by Burundian workers abroad, highlighting both the opportunities and the challenges they encounter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-9163 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Picture3375-300x223.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Picture3375-300x223.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Picture3375.jpg 414w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Following the discussions, His Excellency Minister Bizimana offered a range of advice to the representatives present, stressing their noble duty to care for Burundian girls and boys sent abroad, while ensuring their dignity and safety. This meeting marks an important step in the Burundian Government\u2019s commitment to strengthening migration governance and protecting its citizens abroad.
