Dalela, Secretary in charge of economic relations at the Ministry of External Affairs of India, accompanied by his delegation as well as His Excellency Mr. Upender Singh Rawat , Ambassador of the Republic of India to Burundi.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-9084 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ph-inde-300x282.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"282\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ph-inde-300x282.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ph-inde-1024x964.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ph-inde-768x723.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ph-inde-1536x1446.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ph-inde-2048x1928.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mr. Sudhakar Dalela was carrying a message addressed to Minister Edouard Bizimana and to His Excellency \u00c9variste Ndayishimiye, President of the Republic of Burundi and current Chairman of the African Union, regarding the invitation to the work of the 4th India -Africa Summit scheduled for May 28-31, 2026 in New Delhi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The discussions between the two officials focused on topics of common interest aimed at strengthening the good relations between the two countries. The talks centered particularly on cooperation in the areas of infrastructure development, energy, health, education, and agriculture.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the discussions, Mr. Sudhakar Dalela also expressed his appreciation for African culture.
