That wednesday, july 19, 2023, the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Burundi celebrated the 71st<\/sup> anniversary of the Revolution of july 23, 1952 called “Egyptian National Day”.<\/p>\n

In his speech of the occasion, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Burundi His Excellency Yasser Al-Atawi indicated that they are celebrating the Egyptian National Day at a time when Egypt is led with a determination for a prosperous future. A future built on the foundations of justice, equality and freedom that were established by the revolution of july 1952 and supported by the revolution of june 30, 2013.<\/p>\n

The Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt said that the Egyptian National Day they celebrate in Burundi coincides with the celebration of the 61st<\/sup> anniversary of the Independence of Burundi, when the Egyptian-Burundian relations are at their best stage of sincere brotherhood, he pointed out.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Ernest NIYOKINDI, the Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation who represented His Excellency the Minister in those ceremonies, said that the date of july 23, 1962 is of the capital and unforgettable importance in the history of the brotherly Egyptian people and the entire nation. He indicated that the government of Burundi highly appreciates the efforts of the Egyptian government in the search for a lasting solution in the sub-region and to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Ernest NIYOKINDI, said that the Government of Burundi is delighted with the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation that unite the Republic of Burundi and the Arab Republic of Egypt. The relations that date back a very long time and have never ceased to strengthen for the well-being of the two countries and populations.<\/p>\n
