{"id":4621,"date":"2022-10-26T09:58:13","date_gmt":"2022-10-26T09:58:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/?p=4621"},"modified":"2022-10-26T10:11:39","modified_gmt":"2022-10-26T10:11:39","slug":"the-outgoing-president-of-women-and-social-affairs-commission-presents-the-results-of-the-activities-carried-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/the-outgoing-president-of-women-and-social-affairs-commission-presents-the-results-of-the-activities-carried-out\/","title":{"rendered":"The outgoing President of Women and Social Affairs Commission presents the results of the activities carried out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Sunday, October 02, 2022, a presentation ceremony of the activities carried out by Mrs Auriane ITANGISHAKA, outgoing President of Women and Social Affairs Commission was organized by zoom within the Burundian Diaspora.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this ceremony, the entire Women&#8217;s Committee and the Vice-President of the Burundian Diaspora, Mr. Jean Berchmas MANIRAKIZA were present.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his speech, the Vice-President of the Burundian Diaspora congratulated the new team of Women and Social Affairs Commission, which is made up of six women of various qualities and asked each one to feel in their place for good collaboration and to revitalize the mission of this Commission. He also thanked Mrs. Auriane ITANGISHAKA for her commitment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4622 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/aur-pre-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/aur-pre-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/aur-pre-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.mae.gov.bi\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/aur-pre.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>According to the outgoing President of Women and Social Affairs Commission, Mrs. Auriane ITANGISHAKA, they have been able to lead to major achievements during the past five months, among others: the partnership with CEMABU which is an association for the protection of patients in Burundi; the media campaign to mobilize funds for the &#8220;ISEKEZA 2022&#8221; project. A project that showed the technical and media production capacity that the team has without support from outside; the release of fifty (50) women and girls locked up in four (4) hospitals in Bujumbura; assistance and financial support for the girl from Kajaga high school, organized by a sister association &#8220;KEREBUKA&#8221; from Burundi, led by Mrs. Solange MUREGWA; technical and financial assistance to young entrepreneurs of the GIRITEKA association; financial support for the NGO \u201cGive back Action Mpore\u201d which supports the elderly in the ROHERO district; the visit and financial support to the Orphans of \u201cBon Samaritain de Buye\u201d; the very important and constructive meeting with Her Excellency Madam Angeline NDAYISHIMIYE; the organization of zoom meetings twice a month; visiting and providing technical support to two new media online led by women (PAM Channel TV and Project MENYESHA).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Sunday, October 02, 2022, a presentation ceremony of the activities carried out by Mrs Auriane ITANGISHAKA, outgoing President of Women and Social Affairs Commission was organized by zoom within the Burundian Diaspora.
