On May 07, 2022, in a press release made public, the representatives of the Diaspora took measures after a meeting they held based on the projects drawn up by the commission in charge of the elaboration of the projects which will be made in our country, Burundi.<\/p>\n

These measures that have been taken are the following:<\/p>\n

  1. The representatives of the Country Organizations asked those who are designated to prepare the general assembly to be attentive so that all the decisions taken are discussed well before and agreed by everyone, for the good of the Burundian Diaspora and that of our native country, Burundi.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. The commission in charge of developing the projects is asked to make this action plan solid, so that these projects are presented during the week of the Diaspora.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. The representatives of the Country Organizations supported the commission responsible for preparing the meeting with the Burundians of ISHWI as part of preparing for the trip to the native country (Burundi) in August 2022, and the work planned during this period of the visit prepared by the women’s rights commission.<\/li>\n
      2. The representatives of the Country Organizations have agreed that each country will give a contribution during a period from May 29 to July 15, 2022, and this contribution will help during the Diaspora week 2022.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. The representatives of the Country Organizations agreed that the representatives of the Burundian Diaspora will contribute during the period of the Diaspora: 300 US dollars for those of the administrative and executive committee, and 150 US dollars for those who are elected in the various commissions and representatives of Country Organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. The commission preparing the meeting of the population of ISHWI during the week of the Diaspora was asked to announce as soon as possible how this contribution will be given and used in a transparent manner.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. The representatives of the Country Organizations were asked to come together with those who do not share the same opinions so that all Burundians living in these different countries contribute to build our country, Burundi and consolidate peace.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
