He informed that all the works related to the construction of the residence at the Embassy of Burundi in Addis Ababa are completed while those of the Chancellery are at 75% of the execution rate. In Paris, the rehabilitation works of the Residence are at 85%. In Kinshasa in the DRC, the rehabilitation work of the Residence is almost complete. Still in Kinshasa, the diplomatic steps for the restitution of the plot of Burundi plundered in the Gombe district of Kinshasa are going on normally. The principle of reciprocity will only be applied after having exhausted all the options and the tools that diplomacy offers us, given the quality of our relations with this country at this time. In Brussels, Belgium, the rehabilitation of the roof of the chancellery has been completed. For Dodoma in Tanzania, the construction work of the plot fence offered by the host country is valued at 95%. In Kigoma, the new construction plan of the Consulate has been validated. The new budgeting is being analyzed for approval. As for Mogadishu in Somalia, the work had been suspended by the Somali Government for reasons of location of the plot, but after diplomatic steps taken with the Somali Government, the plot was reallocated to the State of Burundi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By quoting the proverb in Kirundi which says &#8220;Gira iwawe wubahwe&#8221;, the Minister reassured the public that this policy of acquisition of state-owned buildings will continue until the State of Burundi is transformed in the short and medium term into the owner State and definitely break with the tenant State both in Burundi and abroad.
