Ms. Charity also reported that Zimbabwe welcomed the good news of the removal of sanctions that had been taken against Burundi by its partners, including the United States of America and the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation said that Burundi is delighted with the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation that exist with Zimbabwe that is why the idea of\u200beconomic cooperation in these areas is welcome to Burundi given that the year 2022 is dedicated to agriculture.<\/p>\n<p>The two personalities also hoped that Burundi and Zimbabwe and even Africa in general could work together for development and for the strengthening of peace and security, good governance and the fight against terrorism within the continent and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>He ended his remarks by thanking Zimbabwe for the positive assessment of the decisions to lift the sanctions taken against Burundi by its partners.
