Recognition mission of the Assistant of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation

On February 11 to 12, 2021, a Burundian delegation led by the Assistant of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation, Mr. Ferdinand BASHIKAKO, carried out jointly with a delegation from the European Union led by Mr. Jean Marie BIBARA , Project manager, a recognition mission in the country (Gitega, Rutana and Makamba) on certain villages to see the achievements of the population whose projects were funded by the European Union, namely: the Rubimba-Buraza water supply in Buraza commune; Community Storage Shed in Makebuko commune; meeting with the Abatangamuco in Makebuko commune; the installation of solar panels in Rutana – Kinzanza (SESMA: operator Burundi s.a which will manage the installations within the framework of the Public Private Partnership) and the production of patchouli for the manufacture of essential oils in Nyanza-Lac and the installation of solar panels in Rutana – Kinzanza (SESMA: operator Burundi sa who will manage the installations within the framework of the Public Private Partnership) and the production of patchouli for manufacture of essential oils in Buheka and Kazirabageni in Makamba Province.
