The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation, His Excellency Ambassador Albert SHINGIRO affixed his signature this Wednesday, December 9, 2020, in the book of condolences to the French Embassy in Burundi, to pay tribute to the former President of the French Republic, Mr. Valéry Giscard d’Estaing.

In his message, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation, His Excellency Ambassador Albert SHINGIRO offered his most saddened condolences to the Government and the French people due to the death of the former President of the French Republic, a great friend from Burundi, a great architect of the process of the integration of Europe and modernity.

The Minister wished him a good rest.
